Pastor Steve Jones

Steve Jones is blessed to be in service to Christ through Keystone United Methodist. Steve and Tracy, his wife, first lived in Kansas City in 1994 and are excited to return to the area. Steve has attended Central Methodist College (now University) and the UMKC School of Law. He is currently a student through Iliff School of Theology in Denver.

Steve believes passionately that God loves each of us no matter what is going on in our lives, and that God is present and discoverable in every bit of God’s creation.

Sunday Worship

Keystone Classic: 8:45am

Introducing Keystone Classic, a new opportunity to connect with God at Waldo’s oldest church. Featuring organist MacKenzie Reed and thought-provoking sermons by Pastor Steve Jones. This 50-minute service will inspire you and prepare you for the week ahead! Each Sunday will include the highest quality music, traditional hymns and liturgy, and holy communion. We hope you can join us!

Keystone Casual: 10:00am

This service usually features a full band led by Worship Pastor Scott Shaw. We sing songs written in the 16th Century, as well as new ones written last year. The sermon is a bit more thorough, we share Communion every Sunday (all are welcome at the table), and this service usually lasts about 60 minutes. Keystone Kids programming happens during this service.

Our sister church Revolution has an 11:30 service.
